Federal Point Volunteer Fire Department, now know as 'Federal Point Fire-Rescue" was originally incorporated on December 16, 1974. The department was formed in order to fill the Fire Protection needs of the southern portion of New Hanover County (Wilmington NC). Today, we are a combination department consisting of of full time/career firefighters, part time career firefighters and volunteer firefighters.
